- Build on a mountain. Each mountain has its own characteristics, whether it be the orography, the design, the resources or the atmospheric conditions
- Beware of avalanches. Mountain life means learning to live with avalanches. It is impossible to stop them, but there are several ways to alleviate their effects: it creates natural barriers by reforesting the slopes, building walls to redirect avalanches or causes an avalanche when it is still small
- Create a transport network. Transporting cargo seems easy, but it is not when the destination is at the top of the mountain or beyond canyons, slices, cliffs or rivers. You will need to establish an extensive interconnected transport network based on trails, bridges and underground galleries for cargoes to reach their destination
- Build a mountain temple. After surviving the dangers of nature, creating a good transport network and meeting the basic needs of the villagers, you will have only one challenge: conquer the top of the mountain!
